Mountainman Outdoor Supply Company (MOSC), New York’s Largest Canoe and Kayak Dealer and Complete Adirondack Outfitter, announces the opening of it’s new Moose River Outpost. Located on Rt. 28 at the Moose River Bridge in Old Forge and nestled directly between their Paddlesports and Outdoor Gear stores, this new location opened on July 1st and specializes in day-long canoe and kayak trips on the beautiful Moose River. In addition it will offer canoe and kayak rentals and complete outfitting for trips along the newly designated Northern Forest Canoe Trail.

In it, he reviews the guide, The Frogs and Toads of North America, by Lang Elliott and Carl Gerhardt. Sounds like a great book, and it even includes a CD that presents and identifies all the North American frog calls!
