Lower Moose River Trip
This trip starts and ends at our Moose River Outpost in Old Forge. We'll shuttle you to the put in at the North Street Bridge and you will enjoy a leisurely 3 - 4 hour paddle through river lowlands and boreal forests. Enjoy classic Adirondack scenery and wildlife and stop along the river on the many sand beaches for a casual swim or picnic. This trip is unguided and you will need to take out river left and carry your boat around and over Indian Rapids and put in river right for the last mile back to our Outpost where your car or van will await you. Don't forget to visit our Gear and Clothing Shop when your finished or our Boat Shop ur own canoe, kayak or SUP to use the next time you visit the Adirondacks.
